As a Senior Software Engineer you strengthen our Development Projects team by designing, building, and maintaining robust back-end services for NetPro's software development projects. This role is open both in Curaçao and in the Netherlands, and is full-time (40 hours per week).
You will work closely with Project Managers, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the full software development lifecycle, building scalable and secure solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role demands strong technical ownership, proactivity, and the ability to mentor other engineers while maintaining high standards of code quality and reliability. You have a result-oriented mindset, deep back-end expertise, and a sharp focus on delivering well-architected solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services and APIs for NetPro's software development projects.
• Build, deploy, and manage scalable, secure solutions on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Storage, networking).
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the software development lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives).
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, and conduct code reviews for team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing back-end systems and integrations.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical standards, and best practices.
• Mentor and support junior and medior developers within the team.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability standards are met across development projects.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Back-end Software Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Storage).
• Proficiency in one or more back-end languages/frameworks, preferably within the .NET/C# ecosystem.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English; Dutch is a plus.
• A real team player, who demonstrates ownership, mentorship, and strong problem-solving skills.
