As a Compliance & Risk Officer you support NetPro by strengthening risk management and compliance practices across our operations. This is a 32-hour-per-week position.
You will work closely with management, sales teams, and delivery teams to ensure that compliance requirements and risk considerations are clearly understood and practically applied within daily operations. The role demands strong analytical thinking, integrity, and sound judgment to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into practical guidance that supports informed decision-making. You have a proactive,
detail-oriented mindset and a sharp focus on protecting the organization, its customers, and its partners.

• Provide risk and compliance advice to management and internal teams, supporting informed decision-making in projects, customer engagements, and internal initiatives.
• Identify and assess risks within projects, contracts, and operational processes, and support the implementation of appropriate mitigation measures.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal policies, governance frameworks, and compliance procedures, including data protection and security/compliance frameworks such as SOC2.
• Support governance and compliance initiatives by ensuring alignment between regulatory requirements, internal policies, and NetPro's operational practices.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, flagging gaps and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure risk and compliance considerations remain aligned with commercial objectives, customer commitments, and operational realities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding compliance risks and opportunities to strengthen governance practices across the organization.
• Promote awareness of compliance and risk requirements across the organization and encourage responsible, risk-aware behavior in daily operations.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Compliance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a risk or compliance role, preferably within a professional services or IT environment.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2).
• Excellent analytical thinking and judgment, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
• High degree of integrity and organizational sensitivity.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Dutch.
• A real team player, who demonstrates strong cooperation and interpersonal skills.
