Job description

As a Services & Support expert, you are primarily responsible for the daily operations and the more complex and uncommon customer-related topics or issues, primarily related to Cloud Infrastructure environments. In this position, it is expected that you will be able to continuously improve your knowledge of the various software and hardware technologies supported by the company to stay up-to-date with the latest technological developments.

Key responsibilities

  • 3rd / 4th line support to ensure incident(s), service request(s) and problems are resolved in a timely manner (work to SLA thresholds). Influence problem/incident escalations in critical situations;
  • Responsible for the BAU operations;
  • Technically lead implementation of changes & lead technical implementations of complex infrastructures, including producing cost and timescale estimates and identifying risks;
  • Assist the Team lead Managed Service & Support with the continuous capacity management process, ensuring any bottlenecks are identified and addressed before they impact;
  • Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately;
  • Alerts and influences management in respect of the availability of new technology and changes to existing methodologies that impact the way the organization delivers services;
  • Responsible for setting up Monitoring and Reporting;
  • Transfer Knowledge within the MS&S team;
  • All that can be reasonably expected within the scope of the position.

Requirements

  • Academic background;
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position and/or 8+ years in ICT;
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect);
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and able to automate system tasks and processes;
  • Certifications and experience in Firewall technology;
  • Fluent in English; Dutch, Papiamentu and/or Spanish are a plus.
