Job description

As a Lead Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex projects within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring their successful execution from initiation to completion. You will oversee projects across both the Managed Services & Support and Projects divisions, providing leadership, strategic direction, and hands-on project management.

This role requires a proactive, results-driven mindset, with the ability to streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and enhance project execution. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing risks effectively, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple teams.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure efficiency and alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure project success by delivering on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Drive collaboration between internal and external resources for seamless project execution.
  • Optimize resource allocation, team planning, and work processes for maximum effectiveness.
  • Maintain and improve comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, and risk assessments.
  • Lead regular project status meetings and ensure stakeholders receive timely updates.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks to prevent project disruptions.
  • Mentor and guide project managers and team members, fostering professional growth and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, preferably in a managed services environment.
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving project execution at a strategic level.
  • Deep understanding of managed services models, service-level agreements (SLAs), and IT project delivery.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent budgeting, cost management, and project forecasting abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (both written and verbal).
  • A team-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
