The New Year has started and that must be celebrated! 2012 will be the year in which NetPro will continue to focus on working solution orientated and to further develop solutions. Thursday the 12th of January several solutions were exhibited and demonstrated by our specialists. Solutions that were highlighted were Lync, Sharepoint, Counterpoint and MS Dynamics. The importance of implementing a Disaster Recovery plan was also emphasized. In addition to these solutions New Horizons was present to demonstrate an Online LIVE class.
It was an informational gathering with a relaxed atmosphere, opened by several keynote speakers from Microsoft, HP, New Horizons and Inova. After a spectacular brass band, a drink and some snacks, the afternoon came to a successful ending and now NetPro is ready for 2012!

December 9th NetPro organized an exclusive Breakfast Meeting at the Aruba Surfside Marina to inform our clients about the importance of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity. Mr. Frank from WebAruba explained how important it is to be prepared for a disaster and Mr. van Santen continued with his presentation, specifically focused on Disaster Recovery and how this can be implemented. The morning was closed by Ms. Varekamp. She explained why training is import for your employees.

Thursday and Friday (the 21st and 22nd of July), an exclusive group of guests of various companies on both Curacao and Aruba attended an interesting presentation from Barracuda. The presentation took place at Avila Hotel in Curacao and at the Renaissance Convention Center in Aruba, where Ismael Toscano from Barracuda and Michael Dawson from Afina shared valuable information about various security solutions. Last Tuesday, June 21st and Wednesday June 22nd, NetPro Group organized a successful Seminar in Curacao and Aruba where the newest IT Solutions and Training Technologies were discussed. With approximately 150 participants it resulted in an instructive and interesting morning.
The audience was diverse and IT-Managers, as well as HR-Managers and other interested people were present at the seminar. NetPro Group kicked off with the announcement of the newly engaged partnership with World's largest IT Training Center "New Horizons". Thanks to this alliance NetPro Group is able to offer the newest Trainings method available "Online LIVE". Tony Suffoletto, Vice President of Sales from New Horizons shared information about the usage and benefits of this method.
After the break speakers from HP and Microsoft were introduced, specially flown in for the event and informed the attendants about IT Solutions and the importance of training your staff. The Segment Director of Microsoft, Jaggernauth Dass, presented the topic "Real People & Real Solutions" and emphasized the how a good learning partner can be a key contributor to your company's development. After this presentation, the Sales Specialist from HP, Ludvick Ibanez, also added value to the Seminar; he informed the audience about the newest developments of Virtualization.

In cooperation with our new partner, we are very proud to present the newest training method available; Online LIVE. This new method guarantees the availability of attending courses anytime and minimizes the cancellations of classes to zero!
The first reactions are very positive:

“Curacao Games” sponsored by NetPro Group
On April the 18th the Foundation R.K. Centraal Schoolbestuur has organized a special event for the students of nine different schools on Curacao. The event took place at the Radulphus College on the Cas Coraweg. The students were challenged to develop computer games with the program “Game Maker”. The participants, who created the most innovative and creative games, won the challenge. To award these winners, the RKCS asked NetPro Group to sponsor the event by donating 4 wireless routers.
NetPro Group supports initiatives for educational purposes and we were pleased to donate the routers for this event. The results were surprisingly creative and the games were developed on a professional level. We hope that our donation will contribute to more surprising results and motivates these students to develop their IT skills on a professional level!

NetPro has been in existence for 15 years. Thanks to the trust placed in us by our clients and other business relations, we have become what we are now! An innovative and leading IT Partner in the Caribbean. Within
15 years NetPro has grown from 4 friends working on a porch to a company with 40 employees in Curacao and Aruba. Therefore the NetPro staff celebrated this unique occasion together with all their business
relations at TuTu Tango on Wednesday February 2nd, exactly 15 years after the first official day of NetPro.
We also want to take this opportunity to thank the people who could not

Microsoft renews its Partner Network to distinguish the various certified, silver and gold partners from each other. The new Partner Network focuses on competencies. The deeper the company’s commitment is
to Microsoft, the more benefits the company receives, and the higher the value is to their business. This renewal took place the 31st of January. On this date Microsoft measured all requirements for their partners all
over the world. We are proud to announce that NetPro Group has earned six competencies after the renewal

Market of St. Maarten served through NetPro Caribbean and Inova Solutions
As of today, NetPro Group has decided to change its business-strategy on St. Maarten. Due to the possibilities of remote-access, short (fly) distances and international possibilities, our ICT-Services & Support for St. Maarten shall be given directly through our offices on Curacao & Aruba. Therefore it’s not profitable to keep our establishment on St. Maarten open.
The continuity and commitment to the Dutch Caribbean Region shall remain and be serviced through our other sister’s companies with expertise in the following platforms:

season approaches and a new year almost commences, there is always so
much activity and personal business to attend to that it is easy to
forget to thank our valued customers, like you.

In times like these, it’s nice to think of others. Due to the recent
excessive rainfall, Curacao has suffered a lot of damage. Certain
non-profit organizations are encountering financial issues, because of
the rainfall. One of these organizations affected by the rainfall is
“The Children Foundation” in Jan Doret.
The Children Foundation primarily offers afterschool care as a safe
place to do homework, to mingle together and to make use of computers
for 47 children between the ages of 7 to 16 years. Unfortunately due to
the severe wind and rain the roof and computers are completely damaged.
At the moment the Children Foundation doesn’t have enough funds to
replace or repair the damaged equipment.
Therefore, NetPro is proud to announce our assistance to the Children
Foundation. Instead of giving our customers a traditional Christmas
gift, we intend to donate an equivalent amount to the foundation to help
them improve the well-being of the children. After an impressive tour
with regards to the pending renovation-works to be done which we are
confident that our donation shall have a significant value for the
foundation as well as the children.
As a gift in this time of giving & hope, Christmas, we are informing
you, as our customer, our positive gesture to the Children Foundation.
Thursday December 9th the yearly congress of UTS Business took place at the Renaissance hotel in Otrobanda, Curacao. The topic of the 2010 edition was ‘Mobility & Collaboration’. During the congress several companies elaborated on the importance and application of the Mobility & Collaboration trend for their business. Also NetPro Group was part of this innovative event and presented the impact of the new IT trend ‘Cloud Computing’.

NetPro Group and Inova successfully complete migration to Exchange 2010
for NIB Bahamas
NetPro Group and Inova Solutions successfully complete migration to
Exchange 2010 to optimize the communication infrastructure of the
‘National Insurance Board of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas’ (NIB)
NIB relies on its communications infrastructure to improve productivity
and provide service to a population of approximately 330,000 Bahamians,
distributed among 29 islands. By implementing Microsoft Exchange 2010
and Office Communications Server in a virtualized environment, NIB has
regained control of its communications infrastructure costs, reduced TCO
to one third of the cost for maintaining the old system, and laid the
foundation for Unified Communications with the goal of maximizing
collaboration of its employees disseminated throughout the
Commonwealth’s archipelago of islands. NetPro completed the migration by
order of Inova “in exactly the 26 days stipulated in the implementation
schedule, with absolutely no interruption of e-mail traffic or e-mails
lost”, says Vice President of NIB Mr. Raymond Wells.

On October 14th NetPro Group has organized, in cooperation with partner Microsoft, an Executive Breakfast. A select group of decision makers in business and government of Curacao were personally invited to attend an exclusive breakfast at Avila Hotel to discuss the topic ‘Cloud Computing’. Highlight of the presentation was Mr. Pradeep Raman, General Director of Microsoft Trinidad & Tobago. Mr. Pradeep Raman has come especially to Curacao to prepare the industry and government to the changing future of IT, namely Cloud Computing.
Cloud Computing is the newest development in IT and will radically change the future of IT. Within a few years software, hardware and data will be available in the ‘Cloud’ (internet). This creates new chances, business opportunities and more flexibility to companies.

Hans Kruithof, commercial director NetPro Group, congratulates secretary of Cft Geert Bergsma with his brand-new `Hummingbird': a Document Management System (DMS) of Open Text (www.opentext.com) that helps organizations to manage documents more efficiently. NetPro Group had been working for months on the development of this custom-made DMS in accordance with the work processes. On June 30, 2010 NetPro NV finalized the ‘Hummingbird’ Project successfully for Cft.
Cft has been established to temporarily supervise the finances of BES-islands (Bonaire, St.Eustatius and Saba), Curacao, St Martin, the Netherlands Antilles and the Netherlands. The tasks of the Cft are focused on the control of the budgetary process and improvements in financial control and administration. Hummingbird contributes to the values of Cft: independence, transparency and professionalism. And is therefore a great example of the positive stimulation of IT to gaining organization objectives.
Since June 2010 Above Security became NetPro Group’s strategic partner in information risk management. This new partnership added an additional value to NetPro Group’s services and resources as full service IT partner in the Caribbean.
EFEX 2010
From May 27th till May 30th the EFEX took place at the WTC. The first two days were only for business invited guests and during the weekend the exhibition was open for all public.
