Network Engineer (Curacao)
Job description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, inquisitive and positively driven person, who is capable of working within a team. The Network Engineer will design, install and maintain computer networks which are mainly based on Microsoft, Cisco and HP technologies. The person we are looking for should be flexible and eager to learn the newest networking technologies available. You will be reporting to the Technical Department Manager.
We require:
- A degree in higher technical education (HTS TCK, BSc or equivalent);
- Experience with Microsoft Server 2008, or higher (including active directory) and Microsoft Exchange 2007 or higher
- Excellent knowledge of IP based networks and routing protocols
- Excellent knowledge of Cisco networking/security equipment
- MCITP/MCTS/MCSE/CCNA/CCNP/CCSP/CCVP certifications are required
- Fluency in English; Dutch and Papiamentu is an advantage
- Skills to produce professional project documentation
- Flexibility and perseverance, no 9-5 mentality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
